Response to Ms. Teri Anderson’s Article, “President Trump Promised War on U.S. Citizens, KY Politicians Stayed Silent”

First, I was extremely surprised but pleased and excited the Herald-Leader was once again printing articles that effect the U.S. Constitution.

As a native of Laurel County, the Commonwealth of Kentucky, I recall on September 30, 1960, multiple Kentuckians and I, draftees and volunteers, were processed at Louisville, KY Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) and then transported to our applicable military training installations.

My training base was Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, some Army at Fort Knox, KY, Navy and Marines at other US locations.

At arrival at Lackland and slowly absorbing changes in our former environments, we began out military training which not only included basic military events such as Physical Training, Weapons utilization, Marching, etc., but hours of sitting in a base movie theater being lectured on the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ).

For myself and hopefully, other enlistees, were the words of our instructors regarding Legal and Illegal Orders which for me over my career was extremely important due to the Joint Military Service Special and Covert Assignments I was assigned, where the Legal and Illegal Order questions were always present. The US State Department became the director of War, not the Flag Officers of the US Armed Forces.

My first realization the US State Department were responsible for Wars occurred at Homestead Air Force Base, FL, as prior to the Cuban Crisis, the Strategic Air Command’s Wing, Base, and Squadron Commanders adhered to the dictates of the UCMJ and the US Constitution but changed as the Cuban Crisis became a near World War Incident.

President John F. Kennedy visited Homestead Air Force Base where I, one of the many Air Force Law enforcement and Security Airman, were charged with his security. After the Cuban Crisis, our squadron the 19th Combat Defense Squadron was presented the Presidential Unit Award.

At the end of an honorable Air Force career of 20 years and 1 day, I was hired, while on Terminal Leave, by the Northrop Aircraft Company, with duty at King Khalid Air Base, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. My position was as the Northrop Supervisor at the Royal Saudi Air Force ‘s (RSAF) No 15teen, F-5 Squadron where we were contracted to upgrade RSAF Warrant Officers in the Air Operations Vocation. We were successful. We upgraded two Warrant Officers, which were certified by the US Air Force Administrators of the US State Department’s Foreign Sales Program, prior to my medical termination incurred from career medical ailment and returned to the United States, unemployed.

The next US State Department, Department of Defense employment, same air base, but with McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Service, F-15 Aircraft, RSAF’s No. 6 F-15 Squadron however we had no Warrant Office trainees. We, McDonnell Douglas employees, were US military retirees maintaining a Royal Saudi Air Force F-15 Squadron engaged in Air Defense and Combat Air Missions against Iran and Iraq Air Resources and Yemen Armed Forces and Yemen militias. Two United States Air Force Instructor Pilots assigned to the squadron.

After receiving a high-profile senior Pentagon team at the Squadron Facility, I suspected, the United States was going to war against Iraq, I resigned and returned to the United States blacklisted by McDonnell Douglas. I was correct, the war began approximately one year and two months after my resignation. The State Department goal – remove President Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

The assignments identified above provided first-hand knowledge of Secretary of Defense (War), Pete Hegseth’s, recent statements regarding the Rules of Engagement, Geneva Convention Accords and his negative words about the U.S. military. To this end for those of us that truly served in a hostile war environment, we saw the need for the directives frowned upon by Secretary Hegseth to assure our country’s military mission to protect the economic and physical security of the United States, not the interest of the Federal Reserve, inherent investors, and the Military Industrial Complex.

My opinion result is to seek the addresses wise decision to deliver to the people of the United States the need for registered voters to vote in the 2026 and forward elections to demand the United States remains a Constitutional Republic, not a theocracy, dictatorship or return to a monarchy.

Regarding life on earth, I will provide a quote from NASA’s famous working definition of Life: “a self-sustaining chemical system capable of Darwin evolution.” The will of the citizens of the United States will determine if the United States remains a Constitutional Republic or a theocracy.

Theocracies for approximately six thousand years of history are responsible for destruction of civilizations and the establishment of socialist societies.

Please save the United States.

With respect, I remain,

BILLY RAY WILSON
MASTER SERGEANT, USAF – RETIRED
AIR OPERATIONS SUPERINTENDENT
DEFENDER OF THE US CONSTITUTION
