No Christians

As a Laurel County youth, during the 1940s and 1950s, religion teachings almost equaled the hours one spent in public school to learn the history of our great nation and the historical fact, we are a Constitutional Republic. To this end, Kentuckians must decide whether they are loyal citizens of the United States or subjects of a religious entity where they would use their religion to subvert the U.S. Constitution.

At the December 18, 2019 Impeachment Hearings, we listened to a Republican Georgia Congressman saying Jesus received more favorable treatment at his Roman trial than President Trump by the House of Representatives. I was ashamed and saddened by the Congressman’s sickening words.

Per the Constitution, the U.S. Senate will conduct a trail to ascertain if, the President is to be removed or acquitted, however, we listened to Senator McConnell, R-KY, Senator Paul, R-KY, and Senator Lindsey Graham, R-SC, declare the White House would run the Senate Trial and not allow House Mangers to call four witness to testify.

None of Kentucky’s Republican House of Representatives voted to impeach President Trump and based on their words, neither will McConnell and Paul.

Don’t shame yourself by calling yourself a Christian.
